One of the most important questions you will ask anyone in your lifetime is proposing marriage to your partner. Create a moment that will last a lifetime by planning out a proposal that is sure to impress her, that she can be proud to relay time and time again for years to come.
If one of you has a dog, tie the ring to its collar with a ribbon. Lead the dog to her and wait for her to notice the sparkly diamond ring attached to it. When she sees it, get down on one knee and propose to your future bride-to-be. If you don't have a dog, you can improvise with a stuffed animal. Tie the ring to the stuffed animal and present her with it. It might take her a minute to realize that the real gift is attached to her furry surprise. Propose to her when she spots the ring.
Take her out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Arrange with the restaurant beforehand to provide your own fortune cookie, complete with a customized fortune for your lady. Have the fortune read "will you marry me" or "a marriage proposal is in your immediate future." After she reads the fortune, get down on one knee and present her with the ring.
Many movie theaters allow local businesses to purchase advertisements that run before the previews. Arrange with your local movie theater to purchase one of these advertisements and use it to ask your girlfriend to marry you. Take her out to see a movie, but make sure to get there early so you'll have a prime seat to watch your marriage proposal.
Create a website about your relationship. Add content to the site such as how you met, some of your favorite memories together, pictures of the two of you and list a few things that make your girlfriend so special to you. Ask a friend to film you asking her to marry you. Upload this video to the site. Tell your girlfriend that you found a site you think would interest her, and ask her to take a look at it. She will be shocked to see that this site is actually a marriage proposal.
