Netflix has a vast selection of movies and TV shows, some of which are inappropriate for children. Parents who want to block mature content can use parental controls to limit what their kids see. Control-setting changes apply to all the devices you use to watch Netflix, but creating unique profiles for your family members allows you to customize settings for each individual who uses your account.
Netflix parental control settings include four maturity levels: Little Kids, Older Kids, Teens and Adults. To change the maturity level, sign on your account, then navigate to Parental Controls, listed under Your Profile. Click "Edit" to change the maturity level. If your account has additional profiles, access them by clicking the profile icon, then choosing the profile you want to change and clicking its "Edit" link.
Create Additional Profiles
You may create up to five profiles and customize the parental controls for each. From Your Profile, navigate to "Manage Profiles." Click the plus-sign icon to add a Profile. Enter a name, then click the check box if the profile is for a child under 12. Clicking the check box restricts viewing to kid-friendly content, and keeps the account from connecting to Facebook.
