You love a man -- but he has it all. When it comes to middle age, many individuals have achieved major goals in life and acquired many of the material items they want. That can make giving them gifts a problem: what do you get for a man who has everything? But although there's little he couldn't buy for himself if he wanted, that doesn't mean you're completely out of gift options.
A timeless, classic gift is an expensive watch. Although not all men wear watches (and some not to tell the time) they are often status symbols, denoting a person's social position and achievement. These days, watches are constantly being made with new gadgets inside -- ones that tell the weather, stock quotes, and even a few on which you can surf the web. If your man loves elegance and technology, this may be a gift for him.
Many wealthy men enjoy drinking wine, either with meals, or as an after-work treat when they have a tough day at the office. If there's a particular type or vintage that he enjoys, get that one for him. If you're unsure of the right kind to buy, consider what your man likes to eat: red wine typically goes with red meat, and white wine with fish or fowl. Order the wine in accordance to his dietary preferences.
There may be no better gift for the wealthy middle-aged man than an expensive wallet in which to store his cash. Purchase one with high-quality leather, hand stitching, and other intricate details that befit a man of his status. If the wallet is from a recognizable brand-name retailer, he is sure to appreciate the sophistication behind the present.
Cooking has become a high-end hobby in recent years, and men are just as eager participants as women. Give your wealthy middle-aged man high-quality cutlery, cookware, bakeware and flatware to complement or round out his collection. If you know of a particular chef that he admires who endorses a product, purchase it for him.
Wealthy men often like to take vacations to exotic locales. Try surprising him with round-trip tickets or accommodations at a luxury hotel. This gives you the added benefit of being able to accompany him on the trip -- and spending high-quality time with your man may turn out to be the very best gift of all.
