Homemade Gifts for Dance Team
Dance team is a sisterhood built on sweat, spirit and the cheering crowds on Friday nights. Homemade gifts, given throughout the season, add even more sparkle to this glitzy sport.

Water Bottles
-
Hydrate your dancers in style during long practices with personalized water bottles. Plastic or metal bottles can be embellished with letter and scrapbooking stickers or painted with paint pens in school colors. After decorating, cover each lid with aluminum foil and spray the bottles with clear acrylic sealant to protect the ornamentation.
Cowbells
-
Spur your team on to victory with embellished cowbells. Spray paint the bells in a school color and add each girl's name with a contrasting paint pen. Seal the bells with acrylic spray. Tie bows onto the cowbell handles using ribbon in school colors.

Pins
-
The homecoming section of your local craft store is full of spirited accessories for the dance team. Choose a large (3 to 5 inches across) fabric mum flower, and hot glue a football, basketball or dance charm in the center. Add bows, glitter and other embellishments to the flower, and hot glue a pin backing behind it.
Clipboards
-
Surprise your dance team captain and coach with fabulous and flashy clipboards. Hot glue vintage rhinestone broaches and charms, as close together as possible, to the metal clip and allow to dry. Personalize each clipboard by writing the recipient's name on the back with a gold chisel-tipped paint pen.
