National Nurses Week honors the hard work nurses do to help people get well and stay well.

In 1982, President Ronald Reagan signed a proclamation that named the week beginning May 6, 1982, as National Nurses Week. In 1993, the American Nurses Association designated May 6 to 12 as the permanent dates to observe National Nurses Week. Many kinds of promotional gifts are appropriate to honor a special nurse during National Nurses Week.

    • Everyone seems to enjoy receiving T-shirts as a gift commemorating a special event or day. National Nurses Week promotional T-shirts come in a variety of sizes and colors.
