Baby Facts Games for a Baby Shower
Baby showers can bring together families and friends who may not know each other well. Shower games are a lively and entertaining way for people to have fun while learning about more about one another. Trivia games have the advantage being easy to set up and simple to play, whether in teams or individually.
-
Who Is that Baby?
-
Hand guests a pen and paper when they arrive at the party and have each person write down fact about herself as a baby. For example, someone could write that the doctor who delivered her, also delivered her mother thirty years earlier. Put all facts in a bowl and have each guest pull one out, making sure she does not choose her own fact. Each guest reads aloud a fact and guesses which other guest it is about. Guests who correctly guess the author win small prizes.
Trivial Information
-
Divide the shower into two teams and give each group a list of 25 fascinating facts about babies. Subjects could include such pieces of trivia such as the longest pregnancy on record or the most common name for baby girls in France. The team who gets the most correct answers wins.

Who Knows Mother Best
-
Compile a list of fun facts about the mother-to-be and create a separate list with believable but not true bits of information that you have invented. Hand guest a piece of paper with the two lists combined. Ask each guest to decide which details are true and which are false. The guest who guesses the most right wins the game.
Celebrity Baby
-
Choose bits of trivia about babies of celebrities and historical figures. Divide the guests into two teams. Give each team one list of the famous personalities and one list of facts about babies. For example, the list of facts might include a tidbit about a candy bar being named after his daughter. The list of famous people then would include President Grover Cleveland. The team with the most correct matches wins the game.
