Curls Pinned Back
-
Create a look of love with big curly locks pulled away from your face. If you have bangs, part your hair at a diagonal from the front of your head. Then, curl all of your hair with a barrel curling iron. If you don't have bangs, part your hair in four sections (two in the front and two in the back). Curl all of your hair. When finished curling, pin your hair at the nape of your neck so it appears half-up and half-down. To style, add a firm holding hair spray and a hair shining product. For an extra glamorous look, use a fancy rhinestone clip to pin your hair back instead of regular black pins.
Locks to the Side
-
Combine an updo with soft curls to create a delicate hairstyle for your Valentine's dance. Apply styling gel to damp hair, then blow dry smooth. Part your hair into four sections (two in the front and two in the back). Use a medium-sized curling iron to curl all of your hair, except the bangs, if you have them. (If you do have bangs, sweep them across your forehead.) Lift the hair at the crown of your head, then tease with a fine tooth comb. Brush the teased area down, and pin all of your hair to one side so it falls softly on your neck.

Curly Ponytail
-
This style is easy to achieve, yet still glamorous. Simply use a curling iron to create loose and flowing curls. When finished curling, lift your hair into a loose ponytail (without using a brush). Use your hands to smooth the hair that will not be in the ponytail. Secure the ponytail with an elastic. To accessorize your simple style, place a headband in the front of your head. Use red for the Valentine's Day theme, or any color you like.
Sassy and Short
-
Create a fancy and flipped short hairstyle for Valentine's Day. Apply texturizing hairspray to damp hair. While blow drying, use your fingers to lift your hair at the root. Make a wide part on one side of your head (about 2 inches from your ear), flat iron and add a light wax. When finished flat ironing, take a small curling iron and curl your hair upside down to create a subtle flipped look. Add a fancy hairpiece to finish off the look. A silver crown, cloth or colored headband are good accessories to use with this style.
