After you've learned some initial chords, PlayPro Interactive Guitar teaches you how to play 12-bar blues: four bars of the root chord, two bars of the fourth, two bars of the root, one bar of the fifth, one bar of the fourth and two bars of the root. Mastering this basic pattern helps you learn how to change between chords and provides a framework for basic songwriting.
More Advanced Lessons

As you progress, PlayPro Interactive Guitar also teaches you about more advanced guitar techniques, such as hammer-ons and pull-offs, vibrato and string bending. Hammer-ons and pull-offs involve fretting and playing one note, but then changing that note by either hammering your finger onto a higher note or pulling off your finger to reveal one fretted at a lower note. These more advanced lessons give you the opportunity to practice these techniques.
