Full-function scanners incorporate a copier, printer and fax machine, or combinations thereof, in one device suited for home and small- to medium-sized commercial offices. While early models of all-in-one scanners suffered from slow scanning and printing times, newer-generation devices offer improved scanning and printing times, and greater image quality.
