The first step of the syncing process is exporting the contacts stored in Entourage onto the computer's desktop. To do so, open the Entourage application and click the "Address Books" icon. Click the "Select" menu and select the "Select All" option to highlight all of the contacts. Click the "File" menu and select the "Export" option. Select a location to save the contacts and click the "OK" button to export the Entourage contacts in tab-delimited format.
The Entourage application is the email and contact management application that came with the Mac version of Microsoft Office prior to the introduction of Outlook for Mac. While you have no default way to sync your Entourage contacts with a Droid device, you can sync the contacts by syncing Entourage with the Address Book application on the Mac computer and then syncing Address Book with the Google Account tied to the smart phone.

Import into Address Book
Once you have exported the contacts from Entourage, you must import them into the Address Book application. To do so, launch the Address Book application, click the "File" menu and select the "Import..." option. Click the tab-delimited file that you exported the contacts as to highlight it and click the "Open" button to import the contacts into Address Book.
Backup Address Book Contacts
Before your sync your Address Book application with your Google Account, Google recommends that you create a backup of your Address Book contacts. In order to do so, launch the Address Book application and click the "File" menu. Move your mouse cursor over the "Export..." option and select the "Address Book Archive..." option. Type a name for the file in the space provided and click the "Save" button to save the backup to the computer's desktop.
Sync with Google Account
Once you have imported the contacts into Address Book and created your backup, you can sync the Entourage contacts with your Google Account. Launch the Address Book application, click the "Address Book" menu and select the "Preferences..." option. Click the "Accounts" menu and click the "On My Mac" option. Place a checkmark next to the "Synchronize with Google" option, type your Google Account email and password in the spaces provided and click the "OK" button. This Google Account must be the same Google Account you use to sync your Droid smart phone. Once synced with your Google Account, the contacts will also be synced with your Droid.
