Glamour Curls
-
Glamour curls or finger waves are loose waves created by rows of hot rollers that cover the entire length of hair. Have your hair stylist part the top of your hair an inch away from the center part on either side of the head. He should divide the hair into 1-inch wide sections, a half-inch thick. The rollers need to begin on one side of your face at eye-level and continue in a row around your head to the other side. Depending on the thickness of your hair, you should have three to five rows of curls. Your stylist will comb the curls with his fingers to create loose waves that are held back on one side with a vintage pin or flower.
Wave Bob Style
-
Transform short bobbed hair or pinned long hair into a vintage flapper style held back with a small vintage barrette. The hair stylist will blow-dry hair straight before using a wave-iron to apply small, uniform waves over the surface. Pin longer hair underneath to create a shoulder length style. Part the hair to the side, sweeping bangs across the front of the forehead. Hold the front of the hair back to one side with a small barrette. Alternatively, a fascinator hat with a small veil can be pinned to the top of your head.

French Twist
-
The classic French twist is a tight, vertical bun you can style in a number of ways. Smooth the top of the hair perfectly before twisting it into a bun at the back of the head. Tease the crown and front of the hair to add volume. Those with bangs can leave the front loose for a romantic look, as well. Flowers, such as classic gardenias, tucked into the side of the bun add a touch of classic romance, while a veil creates a romantic look.
Chignon
-
The chignon is an intricately designed bun that is pinned to the nape of the neck. Tease hair with a fine-toothed comb at the top and sides of the head to create volume. Make sure your hair stylist uses plenty of shine products to eliminate any frizz. Pin the hair to the nape of the neck then weave around the base in an intricate pattern. Provide your stylist with vintage hairpins with subtle designs to enhance the look.
