For many students, the fall marks going back to school, enjoying high school football games and getting excited about homecoming. Since the boys in your school rack their brains for a cute and fun way to ask you to homecoming, reciprocate by saying "Yes" in a creative and innovative way, as well.
Decorate His Locker
Make use of your computer, glitter pens, colorful markers and stickers to decorate your date's locker. Write a few cute messages on different pieces of computer paper, and tape them to his locker. Do this right after school or first thing in the morning, so when he gets to his locker he'll see you've accepted his offer as a homecoming date. If you really want to go all out, hang "Yes" balloons and colorful streamers around his locker, as well.
Sing It to Him
Get a few of your girlfriends together and write a simple and funny song. Then, with their help, sing your date the song. If you really want to make it special, use a popular song that you both like but switch the original lyrics with your own. Use the music from the original song as you sing your song to him. If your date is involved with sports or the band, encourage his team or bandmates to help you sing the song to him too.
Make an Announcement
Your high school will most likely have a morning "news show" detailing school announcements, activities and other things pertaining to high school life. Talk to the teacher in charge of the news show and get permission to utilize the show to say "yes" to your date. Cut into the broadcast with a "Special Report," and announce you are accepting your homecoming date request. When finished, you can even have a student cameraman walk into your date's classroom to get his reaction.
Simply Say "Yes"
Keep in mind most of the boys in your school (even if they don't want to admit it) think long and hard about the right way to ask you to homecoming. Many boys will be really nervous about asking you, even if they know you'll say yes. Instead of taking time to say "yes" in a cute and fun way, most guys would probably feel much more relieved with a simple and private response as soon as they ask you.
