Different Ways to Close an Email
There are innumerable ways of closing an email. The appropriate manner in which to do so depends on many factors, such as who the email is to be sent to, the relationship you have with that person and the content of the email. It's hard to go wrong with a simple "sincerely," but a more specific closing may be more effective. Professionals often use specific wording to redirect attention to key points, or to encourage recipients to give the email attention and prompt action. In a personal context, emails are often closed in a casual and friendly manner in order to confirm an existing bond.

Looking Forward To...
-
Starting a closing sentence with the phrase "looking forward to..." followed immediately by a reminder of an upcoming meeting is a common way of closing a professional email. This closing allows you to show your enthusiasm while suggesting a call for action in a polite and professional manner.
Thank You For...
-
Another way of closing an email to be sent in a professional manner is with a thank you for an action that has either been undertaken already, or that the sender is asking the recipient to complete. Use the closing sentence "thank you for..." to show sincerity and gratitude in a polite and professional manner.

Regards
-
Many professionals adopt the formal "Regards" closing line in lieu of "Sincerely." Ending in this way allows the sender to convey his or her good wishes to the recipient in a short, simple and direct manner. "Kind regards," "Respectfully" and "All the best" can also be used for the same purpose.
Cheers
-
For friendly or more casual messages, use the closing "Cheers," followed by your name. This simple, colloquial expression closes the email by confirming a bond with the recipient. Due to the informal nature of the expression, it is not recommended for professional correspondence.
