1. Any kid age 3 and up who likes to build things will appreciate Lincoln Logs.

2. Expect to pay from $10 to $50, depending on the set.

3. Find Lincoln Logs at Toys R Us and other large toy chains.

4. Look for them online at eToys or some of the online auctions. If you try to get them by auction, be sure to ask if all of the pieces are there.

5. Order early and plan for delivery within three weeks.

6. Combine several kits to create an entire village or town.
