Things You'll Need
- Small bowl
- Hot water
- Soft bristle brush
- Soft cloths
- Degreasing soap
- Corn starch

Place a few drops of a degreasing soap into a small bowl of hot water. Dip a soft bristle brush in the water.

Scrub the surface and bottom of the boots with the soft bristle brush.

Dip a soft cloth in the water and wipe down the surface of the boot, removing any dirt, grease, oil or debris from the surface.

Dip a fresh cloth in clean water and wipe down the surface of the boots with clean water. Repeat the rinsing process until the cloth comes away clean.

Allow the boots to dry for 24 hours or until completely dry. Wipe the boots with a clean, dry cloth to polish them, restore their shine and eliminate water drops from the surface of the boots.

Sprinkle some corn starch inside the boots. Allow the starch to sit in the boots overnight. This will absorb dirt and odors. Dump out the starch the next day.
