HyperCam is a screen recording utility for the Windows operating system. This application captures the elements on your screen making it useful for creating software tutorials and presentations. It can also be used to record full-screen applications such as video games. When finished recording, you will likely want to avoid having the actions of bringing up the HyperCam window and clicking "Stop Record" from being recorded in your video. Fortunately, you can use keyboard keys to stop the recording without anything else coming up on the screen. This gives your video a more professional look, and avoids you having to cut this scene out with your video editor.
Open the HyperCam software. Click "Start," and type "HyperCam" in the "Search" field, then press "Enter." This opens the program's interface.
Click the "Hot Keys" tab, and locate the "Start/Stop Recording" section. When pressed, the key listed in this field starts or stops the recording.
Change the key by clicking once on the current key. This opens a small "Select Hot Key" dialog box on the screen. Press the desired key on your keyboard. This changes the key in the field to the new key. Click the "OK" button to save. When choosing a key, ensure you select one that will not interfere with the program you are recording.
