How to Get a Banshee in Halo
"Halo" is a popular series of Sci-Fi first-person shooter video games. The game has spawned numerous sequels, but the one that started it all was "Halo: Combat Evolved" for the Xbox game console. In the game you play a human fighting an alien army known as the Covenant. Like the human characters, the Covenant have a number of different vehicles. Their ariel assault vehicle is called a banshee, and you can actually hijack one in the game and ride in it.

Insert the "Halo: Combat Evolved" game disc in the Xbox and start a game.

Play the game until you reach the early level called Assault on the control room. This is one of the terrain levels where the game switches to third-person and you use a large tank to take out enemies.

Clear all the enemies in the level. Look to canyon walls at the edge of the game map, and you will see a rock bridge and a small metal platform attached to it.

Press Y to cycle through your weapons until you come to your rocket launcher.

Aim for the center of the platform and pull the controller trigger to fire a rocket. The rocket will hit the platform and a banshee aircraft will fall to the ground.

Approach the banshee and press B to get into the unit. Use the analog joysticks to fly the banshee. This is the first place to find a banshee in the game. You can hijack banshees later in the game by pressing the A button to jump to a banshee that flies past you. Then press and hold B to throw the pilot out of the banshee. You will then take control of the banshee.
