How to Stop Someone From Viewing My Wall in Facebook

Your Facebook wall is never available to people who are not logged in to Facebook.

Hiding your Facebook profile from the majority of people on the social networking site is quite easy. Use the "Privacy Settings" feature to keep your profile sections, including the wall, visible to only your friends. If you want to stop an individual from reading your profile wall but retain your friendship on the site, the same privacy feature allows you to hide your wall posts from only one person.

Instructions

1. Click on the "Account" link located at the top of any Facebook screen and choose "Privacy Settings."

2. Go to the blue "Customize settings" link.

3. Click on the gray button in the "Posts by me" group and choose "Customize" from the drop-down menu. Enter the name of a Facebook user on your friend list in the "Hide this from" field. Click the "Save Setting" button. Repeat the process in the "Can see wall posts by friends" group, including clicking "Save Setting" again.

Tips & Warnings

• Unfriend a person and set your profile privacy to "Friends Only" if you want to stop him from seeing anything on your profile.

• Block a user using the "Block List" feature in "Privacy Settings" if he is being abusive so that he cannot see your profile, nor communicate with you.
