How to Change an Internet Profile to Home From Public
The Windows operating system provides an easy method to share files with other computers on your network. This method and its options are made available through the Windows Network and Sharing Center component. When connecting to an Internet gateway, you have multiple options for choosing the source's location. While a public network is used when you are using your computer in a public location such as a coffee shop or library, the home network option is used when you trust or recognize all the computers on your network. Change your location from public to home from within the Network and Sharing Center component.
