How to Successfully Pass the Ice Cream Delivery Mission in "GTA VC" for PS2
The mission "Distribution" from "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" requires you to distribute drugs on behalf of a dealer who operates out of an ice cream factory. You take his disguised ice cream truck and drive around the local hot spots, selling narcotics to his patrons. You'll need to pay attention to your surroundings to avoid attracting the attention of the local police or rival gangs. Once you've completed the mission, the ice cream factory will generate a daily income for you.

1
Head to the Cherry Popper's ice cream factory and walk onto the mission icon to start the "Distribution" mission. You'll be presented with a "Mr. Whoopie" ice cream truck and instructed to roam the neighborhood. Find a secluded area with a lot of foot traffic. You'll want good visibility to be able to check for any approaching cops or enemy gangsters.

2
When you're near a group of potential customers, click the left stick down to start your music. The chimes of the truck will attract the nearby folks to your van. Each one will be represented with a yellow dot on the map, so you can see how many are remaining as they clamor at the service window. When all the dots are gone, you've served all your potential patrons and can move on to the next area.

Keep moving from location to location and repeating the sequence. Spot a group of customers, turn on the music and remain stationary while they make their purchases. Rotate the camera around with the right stick to keep an eye out for gangsters and cops while the sales are taking place. Complete 50 sales in total and you complete the mission.

Tips & Warnings
Location is important. It not only dictates the likelihood of running into cops or gangsters, but also how much you'll earn for each transaction. Star Island earns the most money but is crawling with cops. Little Haiti and Little Havana have lots of potential customers but are teeming with enemy gangs. Viceport is a good balance between all the parameters and it also has a Pay n' Spray nearby (to change the look of your truck) in case you alert the police.
