How to Use a Headset With MagicJack
The MagicJack functions as a new phone jack for your home phone, and you can use any home telephone to make and receive calls using your MagicJack device. Alternatively, you can also use the MagicJack softphone in combination with a headset attached to your computer to make and receive calls using your MagicJack device.

Attach a headset and microphone to your computer. Computer headsets have two color-coded and labeled connection cables. Attach the headphone cable to the headphone connection on your computer. Attach the microphone cable to the microphone connection on your computer.

Attach the MagicJack device to a USB port on your computer.

Double-click the MagicJack icon in the MagicJack dialogue box. The MagicJack softphone will automatically open.

Click the "Menu" button on the MagicJack softphone.

Select the "Switch to headset" option.

Dial a phone number on the MagicJack softphone and click the Call icon to make a call. Press the Call icon to answer an incoming call. You will hear the phone conversation through the headset attached to your computer, and the headset's microphone will function as the sound input device for the conversation.
