1
Know your target customer. Understanding her needs, wants and reasons for purchasing your product or services will help you increase the value you can offer and price your product or services accordingly.
-
2
Develop a valuable service or product that will meet the needs of your customers. A product that meets his needs, but easily breaks will ultimately result in an unhappy customer who won't likely return for more.
-
-
3
Stay on top of new technology or information that can increase the value of your product or service. Outdated products and service won't be of much value to your company or your customers.
-
4
Listen to your customers. Their input can help you determine where you can improve and additional products or services you can create for them.
-
5
Train your employees to properly and promptly serve your customers. Pay them accordingly, as happy employees are more likely to provide valuable customer service and offer better and faster production.
-
6
Collect the email and physical addresses of your customers to send them special offers or discounts for special occasions, such as their birthdays, anniversaries and customer appreciation deals, to create a customer database.
-
7
Follow up with your customers, whether by a phone call, email or other form of communication, for their feedback. Surveys or open-ended questions, such as "how can we provide more value?" can let you know where your business can improve.
