How to Unlink Someone on Linkedin

LinkedIn was founded in 2002 and reached 4,500 members in its first month. By March 2011, more than 100 million professionals from around the globe had joined the social networking site. With a LinkedIn account, professionals can connect with past and present co-workers, bosses, college friends, as well as people they have met through conferences, industry associations and more. There may come a time, however, when one of these contacts needs to be unlinked. With just a few clicks, users can disconnect from someone in their network..

Instructions

1. Log in to LinkedIn with your email address and password.

2. Click "Contacts" from the toolbar, and select "My Connections" from the drop down menu.

3. Click the "Remove Connections" link on the right side of the page.

4. Check the boxes next to any contacts you want to remove.

5. Click the blue "Remove Connections" button on the right to confirm the change.
