With a LinkedIn account, professionals can connect with past and present co-workers, bosses, college friends, as well as people they have met through conferences, industry associations and more.       Log in to LinkedIn with your email address and password.

      Click "Contacts" from the toolbar, and select "My Connections" from the drop down menu.

      Click the "Remove Connections" link on the right side of the page.

      Check the boxes next to any contacts you want to remove.

      Click the blue "Remove Connections" button on the right to confirm the change.
