How to Reset a Low Brake Fluid Light on a 2004 Impala
From 1994 through 1996, Chevrolet released a new Impala SS, which was simply an upgraded version of the full-sized Caprice. The 2004 model year marked the return of the Impala SS, as Chevrolet expanded the Impala lineup to three trim levels -- base, LS and SS. Each of the three trim levels had its own engine, they were: a 180-horsepower, 3.2-liter V-6, 200-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 and a 240-horsepower, supercharged 3.8-liter V-6, respectively. The "Low Brake Fluid" light on the 2004 Impala's instrument cluster alerts the driver when the brake fluid falls below the "Min" level on the master cylinder reservoir. Resetting this light involves just adding fluid to the reservoir.

Tips & Warnings
Low fluid level indicates a problem in the brake system, including fluid leak or low brake pad level. Once you add fluid to the system, have the brakes checked by a professional.
