How Do I Move Postions in Rainmeter?

Save

Many Windows users use Rainmeter to fill their desktop with custom overlays such as the time and date, weather forecasts, RSS feeds, email notifications, and system hardware monitors. Finding the perfect layout for the Rainmeter skins can take a little bit of adjusting, especially if you're trying to organize Rainmeter around a new desktop background. Rainmeter's default positions can be customized and rearranged by making the skins "Draggable." Once you have enabled this option, you can shuffle your skins around as much as you please.

  • Right-click on a Rainmeter skin. A drop-down menu will appear.

  • Select "Settings." A drop-down submenu will appear.

  • Select "Draggable." A checkmark will appear to the left of this option once it is enabled. Make sure that "Save Position" is checked as well.

  • Click and drag the Rainmeter skin to your desired location on the desktop. The position of the skin will be saved until you move it again. If you do not wish to move the skin by accident, go back to the "Settings" submenu and disable the "Draggable" option.
