Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 includes a diverse set of tools for designing a presentation that captivates your audience. Use the hyperlinks feature if you want to link text or an object, such as an image, in one slide with text in another slide in a presentation, whether it's the same presentation or another one. You can also use a hyperlink to link to a file, website or an email address. When presenting the set of slides, click the link in the slide to be instantly transfered to the slide you have configured the hyperlink to link to.

      Open Microsoft PowerPoint 2010.

      Click the "File" tab, then select "Open" from the drop-down menu.

      Locate the PowerPoint file you want to edit and click the "Open" button.

      Click the "View" tab, then click the "Normal" button located in the "Presentation Views" group.

      Click the text or object for which you want to create a hyperlink.

      Click the "Insert" tab, then click "Hyperlink" located in the "Links" group.

      Click the "Place in This Document" icon found under the "Link to" section.

      Click the slide under the "Select a Place in This Document" section that you want to link to with the hyperlink to select it.

      Click "OK" to create the hyperlink to a slide within the same set of slides.
