How to Delete the VBA Project

By using the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor bundled with Microsoft Office programs, you can remove and delete VBA projects you don't need to free up drive space. VBA is a programming language which allows you to create macros, or projects, for programs included in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, such as Word, Excel or Access. Macros are small programs which can access data from within Microsoft Office documents and perform operations on it. You can remove a VBA project from within any Microsoft Office program.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch any program which is part of the Microsoft Office suite. Common Microsoft Office programs include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.

    • 2

Press the ALT and F11 keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This will open the VBA editor.

    • 3

Right-click in the left pane on the name of the VBA project you would like to delete and select "Remove." The VBA editor will now delete that project from your system.
