How to Tell Who Has Defriended You or Blocked You on Facebook

Ending a friendship is never easy. If you suspect that one of your contacts has removed you from his Facebook friends list, then you may have to do a little bit of detective work to determine whether he has simply "unfriended" you or if he has blocked you entirely. Facebook will not send you any notification if you are blocked, as this feature is kept confidential to preserve users' privacy. A quick search for your friend within Facebook will reveal whether he has blocked you or not.

Instructions

1. Type your contact's name (first and last) into the search bar at the top of your Facebook Home page.

2. Locate your contact within the search results. If your contact does not appear within the search results, then she has blocked you.

3. Click your contact's name in the results. If your contact is not listed as a current friend, then she has removed you from her friends list. You can send a new friend request by clicking the "Add Friend" button.
