Save

The BlackBerry is a great device for organizing your messages, schedule and media. The BlackBerry supports the use of a media card for storage of pictures, audio and video files, as well as other file types. To put a password on your Pictures on a BlackBerry, you can do one of two things: You can encrypt and password-protect the entire media card, or you can download and install a program named AppLock from BlackBerry App World. AppLock allows you to set a password on a particular folder on the BlackBerry. Install AppLock and password-protect the Pictures folder on the BlackBerry device and/or media card.

  • Scroll to and highlight the "BlackBerry App World" icon. Tap or press the trackpad. BlackBerry App World opens.

  • Scroll to and select the "Get Details" button next to the "AppLock" entry. Tap or press the trackpad. The download page opens.

  • Scroll to and select the "Purchase" button. Tap or press the trackpad. The charge for the software is $2.99.

  • Scroll to and select the "Download" button. Tap or press the trackpad. The software is downloaded and automatically installed to the BlackBerry.
