How to Get Addresses for Apartment Rental Properties
If you're contemplating a move and have identified an apartment you are interested in, obtaining its address can help you consider important factors such as school zoning information, proximity to your school or job and available community resources near the area. Many apartment property managers advertise their rental properties in magazines, newspapers and online, and they will often advertise the same property in multiple places. If you have identified a possible apartment using one resource which does not list the address, you may be able to find the address elsewhere with a little persistence.

1
Contact the apartment rental company directly and ask about the steps required to obtain the addresses to its rental properties. Some companies might require you to visit the agency in person to get apartment listings from the office, including the addresses, while others might provide the information over the phone.
-
2
Check the rental property's website. Some companies display apartment information such as amenities, pricing, pictures and location information.

3
Access websites dedicated to apartment rentals to see if the property is registered with any of them. Even though the apartment address is not listed on one website, it may be listed on others. Search for the apartment using whatever information you have about its location or its description, such as the city and state or ZIP code. Some websites offer advanced search options where you can look for apartments with specific amenities or within certain school districts.

4
Go to a grocery store or other retail store and check the magazine stands. Some companies advertise their properties in apartment rental magazines, which are usually free, and these might also list the apartment's address.
-
5
Browse through the booklet and locate the rental property. Look for the address at the top of bottom of the page or under the pictures. Some agencies even provide directions to the apartment.

Tips & Warnings
Some apartment complexes allow individuals to borrow the keys to rental properties for viewing purposes. You might be required to leave your driver's license or state-issued ID before obtaining the keys.
Visit the apartment at different times of day or night to give you an idea about noise levels, neighborhood traffic flow and to meet your potential neighbors.
Write a list of questions and bring them with you as you visit different rental properties. Ask the landlord questions about any needed repairs, average utility bills, crime and safety and how to handle emergency maintenance requests.
