Place the plastic cap from the part-line of the bang to the back of your head, covering the ponytail. Your bangs should be the only hair left outside of the plastic cap.

Perform a strand test of your hair. Follow the directions in the bleaching kit to perform a strand test. If there is no sign of breakage, continue to the next step.
