How to Get Platinum-Colored Bangs

Things You'll Need

• Brand name hair bleaching kit
• Rubberband
• Hair comb
• Plastic cap
• Towel

Instructions

1. Read the instructions provided in the bleaching kit.

2. Leave your bangs out and pull the rest of your hair back in a ponytail since you are only bleaching your bangs.

3. Place the plastic cap from the part-line of the bang to the back of your head, covering the ponytail. Your bangs should be the only hair left outside of the plastic cap.

4. Mix the contents of the bleaching kit according to the instructions.

5. Perform a strand test of your hair. Follow the directions in the bleaching kit to perform a strand test. If there is no sign of breakage, continue to the next step.

6. Apply the bleach on the hair. Do your roots last to avoid irritating the scalp. Allow it to sit for the recommended time in the instructions.

7. Rinse out the bleach thoroughly. Blot your hair with a towel. Apply a conditioner that moisturizes the hair and rinse it out. Blow-dry and comb your bangs.
