How Can Two People Sharing One Computer & Email Address Have Two Separate Facebook Accounts?
Two people who share one computer can each have separate Facebook accounts. However, Facebook allows only one account per email address, so one user must sign up for Facebook with an alternate email address solely for the purpose of opening an account on Facebook; this way, two people can still share a common email account for communication purposes without a problem.

1
Sign up for an alternate email address. This address does not have to serve as your general email, but it is required by Facebook in order to open two different accounts. Free email services include Microsoft's Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and GMail.

2
Navigate to the Facebook website at Facebook.com and sign up for an account there by clicking "Register." Have one person sign up with the alternate email address from Step 1. During registration, you may add the shared email account as an alternate email for the newly-created Facebook account. This allows you to receive Facebook notifications via email without having to log into the newly-created account.

3
Register the other party using your primary, shared email address.
-
4
Check that the "Keep Me Logged In" box is unchecked each time either of you log in to Facebook. This keeps your computer from remembering your username and password, which allows both of you to log in to Facebook using your individual credentials, preventing the overlap of logins.
-
5
Click the "Log Out" button under the "Account" menu in the upper right corner of the Facebook page each time you leave the computer. This prevents both of you from signing in as the other person when you log in to Facebook.

Tips & Warnings
Some Web browsers ask users if they would like the browser to remember the username and password of certain websites. If you are sharing a computer between multiple social networking or email accounts, always click "No" to prevent incorrect or automatic logins.
Be sure to log in to the newly-created alternate email account at least once every 60 days, or else the account may be shut down due to inactivity. You do not need to read the emails or send emails from this account; just log in. You may, however, wish to delete Facebook emails from the account if they start accruing rapidly.
