How to Fuse Monsters on "Yu-Gi-Oh"

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a collectible card game featuring duels between players who control monsters in decks. Fusing is a special way to summon a very powerful monster card into play. Fusion only works with fusion monsters. The term "Fusion Monster" appears on the card itself. Fusion monsters include Naturia Exteria, Ultimate Axon Kicker and Supreme Arcanite Magician. If you want to fuse monsters, you should have a deck built around that ability, since it requires several cards to work.

Instructions

    • 1

Include three copies of "Polymerization" in your main deck. Polymerization is a spell required to fuse monsters. Because there can only be a maximum of three of the same card in a deck, place all three in your deck. If you have any less, and you likely won't get Polymerization, and, therefore, fusing, when you need it.

    • 2

Include three copies of "Speed Spell -- Speed Fusion" if you're playing a turbo duel. Speed fusion is the equivalent to Polymerization in turbo deals. Also include "Speed World" or "Speed World 2," since these two cards create Speed Tokens, which are needed to use Speed Fusion, and, therefore, to fuse monsters.

    • 3

Summon the right fusion material monsters into play or keep them in your hands. Fusion material monsters are fused to create the more powerful fusion monster that is kept in your extra deck. For example, if you wanted to fuse to get Naturia Exterio, summon Naturia Beast and Naturia Barkion into play or keep those two monsters in your hand.

    • 4

Play Polymerization, or, if you're playing a turbo duel, play Speed Fusion. Polymerization and Speed Fusion let you fuse two fusion material monsters in your hand or in play that are both listed as material on the fusion monster. Place the two fusion material monsters in your graveyard. Take the fusion monster from your extra deck and place it in play on your side of the field.
