Instructions

2. Smooth a thin layer of hair pomade on dry fingertips. Smooth the pomade evenly throughout your hair and begin pulling the hair on top of your head up and hair on the sides of your head forward. Avoid overusing the product, as this will make your hair heavy and harder to style.

3. Manipulate the hair on top of your head up and forward. Alternately push your hair together at the center, forward and up from your forehead. Use your fingers to separate pieces of your hair to create a messy yet pulled-together look.

4. Run your fingers vigorously back and forth through the hair on the back of your head. This will make it appear messily styled.

5. Muss the sides of your hair gently to achieve a spiky finish on the sides. Lightly mist the hair spray on the sides first. If you desire an even spikier finish, gently push the tips away from your head as you spray. Avoid using too much and dampening your hair. This will cause the spikes to fall.

6. Spray a light mist of hair spray over your entire head, making quick adjustments to the final style as it dries. This will give you a faux hawk that will hold its shape. Use strong-hold hair spray for even longer wear.
