How to Increase the Buffering Rate of Adobe Flash Player

Adobe Flash Player allows you to view a variety of video files on websites. When watching them, you must first allow them to buffer before they will play. Depending on a number of factors, it can take some time before the video buffers completely. Playing a video when it is not fully buffered can result in it stopping or jumping, but you can increase the buffer speed of your flash videos.

Instructions

1. Open your browser and type in the address for "Adobe Flash Player." Download the latest version. Using older players can be slower to buffer.

2. Close any programs that are not vital. This will improve the speed of your computer's processor and help the buffering speed.

3. Close all browser tabs other than the one with the video. More tabs means the bandwidth of your network is spread out; fewer tabs allows your bandwidth to focus solely on helping to buffer your Flash player.

4. Download the latest version of your browser. This will include updates and plugins that help improve video-buffering performance.

5. Try a different browser. Generally, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome run slightly faster than Internet Explorer.
