How to Play a Replay in FSX


"Microsoft Flight Simulator X," or FSX, is a flight-simulation game released for the PC in 2006. FSX is always recording a user's gameplay, allowing users to view replays of their flights at all times. The game records only the last 100 seconds of gameplay, however. It replay feature can help a user determine, for example, why a landing went wrong by allowing him to view the details of the landing. Learning how to watch a replay is integral for a user to improve his FSX skills.

  • Press "P" to pause the game.

  • Press "Alt" to make the main menu visible. Click "Options" from the menu at the top of the screen. Click "Instant Replay" from the drop-down menu.

  • Click the arrows next to Replay Length and Replay Speed to set the speed of the replay and the length of time you wish to see.

  • Click "OK" to view your replay.

Tips & Warnings

  • Press "Esc" at any time to exit the replay and return to the game.
