How to Draw Anthro Huskies

Humanize your husky.

Anthro huskies otherwise are known as Anthropomorphism huskies. A common drawing method in Japanese cartoon, the significance of anthropomorphism is to draw an animal mixed with the human species. In this case, we will be drawing a husky mixed with human physical traits. To grasp this concept, try sketching humans and huskies separately, and then once you feel confident to combine the two, pick up your pencil and start sketching.

Instructions

1. Draw the outline of a human body. Use a male body template or draw your own male form. Draw a circle for the head. Draw a curved neck shape coming down from the head and draw a large triangular block to create a strong torso. Draw tube-like limbs for the arms and legs. Sketch circles for the feet, knees, elbows and hands inside the limbs.

2. Create the husky face. In the center of the face, draw two lines that stick out of the center to create the snout. At the end of the snout, draw an upside triangle nose. Above the snout, draw two human-like almond shaped eyes and two pointy ears that stick out on each side of the head. Draw a stripy pattern on the face and a dark, smiling mouth underneath the snout.

3. Add a large fur collar to the head of the husky. Draw spiky fur fluffing out from the face, and ensure that the ears poke out from the large collar.

4. Outline the body, and humanize the body. Draw a six-pack in the torso of the anthro husky. Draw a strong chest with two dots for nipples inside the pectorals. Draw a bellybutton, and outline the limbs to follow the same curves and forms of a human shape. The only thing that will differentiate the body from not being human is the fur placed on the body and claws of the hands and feet.

5. Draw a fur coat to the body of the husky. Draw five lines for fingers inside of the circular hands, and draw pointed triangles for the claws.

6. Color in your anthro husky. Use a pale blue, and leave the central part of the body white. Add cuffs to the wrists and ankles of the husky, and sketch patches of white in the face to add style to your anthro husky.

Tips & Warnings

• Anthro huskies are complex creatures to draw. Remember that the face always will resemble a husky, and the body will resemble a human. Usually, they are drawn standing not on four legs like a husky but rather like a human.
