        Purchase a compatible Canon AE-1 lens adapter that will attach to your Canon EOS Rebel digital-SLR camera. You can find lens adapters at most reputable online retailers such as Newegg or Amazon and online photography retailers such as Wolf Camera and B&H Photo (see Resources).

        Attach the Canon AE-1 lens adapter to the Canon EOS Rebel and insert the Canon AE-1 lens into the opening of the camera. Make sure you insert the lens with the red dots matching up.

        Twist the lens clockwise until you hear a "click" noise, which means the lens is secure within the adapter.

        Power on the Canon EOS Rebel and press the shutter button to test out your new lens.
