1
Turn off the Baby Lock Quilter's Choice and unplug it from the wall socket.
-
2
Open the foot storage compartment on your Baby Lock sewing machine, located under the sewing plate. Slide out the foot storage compartment to the left to open it. Locate the side cutter foot in your sewing items. The side cutter foot has a blade on the side for cutting the edge off of a piece of fabric so you can stitch over the edge of the fabric to keep it from fraying. It is the only part of the Baby Lock Quilter's Choice sewing machine that needs oiling.
-
-
3
Place one or two drops of sewing machine oil on a cloth.
-
4
Rub the oiled cloth over the sharp edge of the cutter foot when it is too dull to cut fabric any longer.
