How to Compare Charges for Fast Speed Internet
High-speed Internet, also known as broadband Internet, is provided by many Internet service providers (ISPs) using a variety of technologies. Comparing fees charged by ISPs requires you to know the transfer rate of your Internet connection, measured in megabits per second (Mbps). Generally, faster upload (information send from your computer) and download (information received by your computer) speeds are more expensive than slower speeds. However, different factors may affect the pricing of services. As a consumer, you want the fastest Internet speeds for the lowest fees.
