How to Update the Firefox DevalVR 3D Plugin
DevalVR is a 3-D browser plug-in that works on Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows computers. It allows viewing of certain three-dimensional videos within the browser. As video formats change, though, your DevalVR 3D plug-in can become out of date and incapable of handling newer 3-D videos. For that reason, you'll want to periodically update the plug-in. You can do so from Firefox directly. As of May 2011, the latest version is 0.8.1.2.

Select "Add-ons" from the Firefox Tools menu.

Click the gear in the upper right-hand corner.

Select "Check for Updates" from the window that pops up. Wait for the program to check if an update is available for DevalVR 3D and any other plug-ins that you have installed.

Click the "Update" button next to the DevalVR 3D plug-in. If the update button does not appear, it means no update is available.
