Instructions

    • 1

Fill a mister bottle with lukewarm water and spray it directly above the budgie's head. Wet the bird thoroughly so all of its feathers are damp.

    • 2

Place a mirror with the reflective side facing up in the bottom of a bowl. Fill it with 2 to 3 inches of lukewarm water. Put the budgie in front of the bowl. The budgie will be drawn to the mirror and will hop right in.

    • 3

Wet a lettuce leaf and place it lightly on top of the bird. The bird will play with and eat the lettuce, getting itself wet as it does so.

    • 4

Cup your palm and fill it with lukewarm water. Allow your budgie to hop in and get itself wet.

Tips & Warnings

  • Bathe your budgie early in the day so it can dry off before evening.

  • Bathe your budgie in a warm room with no drafts. This prevents the bird from getting cold.

  • Do not towel dry your budgie. Allow it to air dry.
