Instructions

    • 1

Lay the 22-inch-square bandanna on a flat surface. If there's any manufacturer printing in a corner, fold that corner inside to hide the print.

    • 2

Fold the bandanna over into a triangle facing you. Flip the bottom end of the triangle up toward the long folded end of the triangle, and keep folding until you are left with one long strip. The strip should be 2-inches high with pointed ends.

    • 3

Place on top of your left wrist with the bandanna centered. Clasp the bandanna tightly with your right hand between the thumb and forefinger. Wrap it around the wrist once in each direction. The ends should meet on the underside of your wrist coming from opposite directions.

    • 4

Tie the ends into a knot with the right hand and pull tightly using your teeth if necessary. Tuck under the loose ends and arrange the bandanna print to your liking. If you prefer the bandanna on the right wrist, repeat Steps 3 and 4 using the opposite hands.

    • 5

Make the bandanna tight enough so it is comfortable but fits snugly enough not to slide.

Tips & Warnings

  • Alternatively, you could make a bandanna from scratch by cutting a 22-inch square piece of colorful fabric, and then follow the folding directions.
