How to Access the Properties of a Qwest 2Wire 827

Before you can use your Qwest 2Wire 827 broadband modem, you first need to configure it to work with your Internet service. In order to configure your modem, you will need to access the "Properties" page through your Web browser. If you have already configured your modem but need to change certain configurations, you may also do this through your Web browser from the same page.

Instructions

1. Ensure that your modem is connected to your computer's Ethernet port via an Ethernet cable, then launch your preferred Web browser.

2. Type "http://192.168.0.1" into your browser's address bar, then press "Enter."

3. Click "Advanced Setup" to access your modem's configuration and properties page.
