The Facebook social networking website gives Facebook users the ability to report profiles, photos, messages, groups, events, pages and posts that violate Facebook's terms of use to Facebook. If you want to report something on Facebook, you can do so by clicking the "Report" link near the item on Facebook.

Instructions

      Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to the Facebook login page. Type your Facebook account email and password in the spaces provided and click the "Login" button to log in to your Facebook account.

      Navigate to the profile you want to report. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Report/Block This Person" option. Confirm that you want to report the profile to send the report to Facebook.

      Navigate to the photo that you want to report. Click the "Report This Photo" option to the lower left of the photo. Confirm that you want to report the photo to send the report to Facebook.

      Open the message that you want to report. Select "Actions" in the upper-right corner of the page. From the drop-down menu choose "Report/Block User."

      Navigate to the Facebook group that you want to report. Click the "Report Group" option at the bottom of the Facebook group's wall. Confirm that you want to report the group to send the report to Facebook.

      Navigate to the event that you want to report. Click the "Report Event" option at the bottom of the event's wall. Confirm that you want to report the event to send the report to Facebook.

      Navigate to the profile of the Facebook user that posted a wall post that you want to report. Click the "X" icon in the upper-right corner of wall post on the profile's wall, followed by the "Report as Abuse" option to report the post. Confirm that you want to report the post to send the report to Facebook.
