How to Add Multiple Tracks in Adobe Soundbooth CS3

Soundbooth includes thousands of preset sound effects.

Adobe Soundbooth CS3 features automatic noise removal, a composition tool to aid film scores and its one-click vocal enhancer tool. Soundbooth has also included 15 audio filters for compression, reverb, eq, time-stretching and pitch shift. You can add multiple audio tracks into a Soundbooth project by importing each audio file individually. Soundbooth CS3 automatically separates each audio file into its own track.

Instructions

1. Open Adobe Soundbooth CS3. Wait for the program to load completely before going to the next step.

2. Click "File" and then select "Open." Navigate the browser window and select the audio file you want to import.

3. Click the "Open" button to start import. Soundbooth will automatically create separate tracks for each imported file. Click the arrow in the "Editor" panel. This displays all the open tracks in the project. Click on another file name to display that track on the computer screen. Soundbooth does not allow you to display multiple tracks simultaneously. You must switch views by using the "Editor" panel as described.

4. Repeat Step 3 for each audio file that you want to add to the project.
