How to Draw Vividly
A vivid drawing is made by using vibrant colors instead of dull and boring colors. Offset your image against a contrasting background to increase the vividness of the composition. The word "vivid' describes something that is brilliant and stands out. Catch a viewer's attention by using bright colors and deep contrast.

Select a medium on which to draw. Draw on paper, asphalt or a computer program.

Choose something to draw. Choose things like objects, animals or free-form creations.

Draw with bright-colored utensils. Examples of drawing utensils include colored pencils, colored chalk and colored pixels.

Increase the vividness of the drawing. Use dull- and dark-colored drawing utensils to shade in the background. The dull and dark colors of the background contrast the brilliant colors of the composition.
