How to Upgrade to High-Speed Internet With the Embarq 660 Series

The Zyxel 660 series is a router/modem provided by CenturyLink, which merged with Embarq Internet service. If you upgrading your high-speed Internet, Embarq will send you the modem with a self-installation kit. Connecting your ZyXEL 660 series follows similar steps to any DSL modem setup. The ZyXEL 660 series is a router and modem combined, which means you do not need two separate devices. You can use the modem to either emit a wireless signal for other computers in the house or to "hard-wire" the computer to the modem.
