How to Poke Onyx Stones

"MouseHunt," a platform game played through the Facebook website, allows its players to clear the fantastic land of Gnawnia of mice through passive game-play. Rather than actually taking control of a character, users issue commands via an interface. Other functions of the game, such as inventory management, are carried out through the same interface, so using an onyx stone -- a key ingredient in "Unstable Curd" -- does not involve any actual game-play in the traditional sense.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Facebook account and go to the "MouseHunt" portal, either by clicking its shortcut on the left-hand column above the list of your friends online, or by searching for it in the search bar and clicking its link.

    • 2

Hover your cursor over the "Inventory" tab on the "MouseHunt" interface. Select "Crafting" from the list of options that appear in a drop-down menu.

    • 3

Drag an onyx stone, ionized salt, and curds and whey (which is a single item in the game) individually into the crafting slots. There should only be one item per slot. Click "Craft." This creates an item called "unstable curd."

    • 4

Hover over the "Inventory" tab and select "Special." Press the "Poke" button next to the unstable curd item, or "Poke All" if you have more than one piece to poke. The unstable curd will stabilize and become one of several varieties of rare cheeses.

Tips & Warnings

  • There is no way to regain a piece of unstable curd after it has been poked.
