How to Use Outlook Express With Craigslist

When setting up a Craigslist ad, you are required to enter an email address where people can respond to your ad. You can use any email address. To use Outlook Express and Craigslist, you must enter the email address in your ad that is linked to your Outlook Express Account, so that all responses to your Craigslist ad will come to your Outlook inbox.

Instructions

1. Go to the Craigslist website and choose the location where you want to create your ad.

2. Select "Post to Classifieds." Select the type of advertisement you want to make, for example "housing offered" or "for sale," and then select a sub-category, which is more specific, for your ad.

3. Fill in the required information for your ad. In the blank next to "Reply to:" enter your email address that is linked with Outlook Express. Enter your email address again in the second blank to confirm. All responses to your ad will be sent to Outlook Express.

4. Click "Continue," then click "Continue" on the subsequent page. You will receive an email in Outlook Express with a link that will take you to a Web page where you can choose to publish your ad.
